Sandra J. Click 71 of Rome passed away peacefully on Feb 16th 2024, with her family by her side. 

She was born Feb 8th 1953, daughter of the late Constance Elmer and Charles Carey. She was educated in Rome schools. As a daughter of a veteran, she proudly served in the USAR from 1976 to 1978. She found her passion in the food industry working in various restaurants in Arizona, Florida and NY. Her favorite was traveling as a troubleshooter for Dennys. Sandy loved God and raised her 2 children in church. She found purpose in helping the elderly in both her family and church.

Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sarah Click and Robert Arensman of Rome and her Grandchildren whom she loved dearly A'Miracolo Zachary Adam Click and Ariella Elizabeth Arensman. A sister Debbie Kerber, nieces Candy and Penny and Nephews Michael, Travis and Trevor. Sarah's father, Gary DeCristo, her best friend since childhood Jill Burkhart, special friend and caregiver, Lucy Saul; Ms. Shirley, Linda, Cheryl, Laurie and Jack.

She is predeceased by her beloved Son, Zachary Adam Click, parents, siblings Ed, Charles and Jeanie, special friend, Shawn Kelly, aunt and uncle, Betty and Art Elmer, niece and nephew, Melissa and Phillip Carey.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb. 27, 2024, at 6:00 Pm, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.  Burial will be in the spring in Rome Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM, prior to the funeral service.
