Richard F. Randall, age 51, of the Town of Verona, passed away unexpectedly after a brief illness on April 27, 2024 at SUNY Upstate Medical University, with his loving family by his side.

Richard was born in Utica on September 30, 1972 to Richard W. Randall and Elaine Bonville, and graduated from Utica Free Academy. On October 6, 2001, he was united in marriage to the former Christy Hansen. Richard was currently employed as a Senior Custodian for the Rome City School District.

Richard enjoyed fishing, video gaming, and music. He played bass in the River Rock Nightmare Band. His two greatest loves in life were his family and music.

Richard is survived by his loving wife, Christy; children, Sam Randall, Rachael Randall, Michael (Emily) Hoffman, and Jeremy Randall; grandchildren, Hudson and Violet; father, Richard (Bonnie) Randall; sisters, Sherry (George) Ruffrage, and Crystal; (Zack) Johnson; brothers, Tom Joslyn, David (Laura) Joslyn, Joe Randall, and Steven Randall; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Elaine.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Verona. Burial will be in Verona Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM.
