Willard A. (Skip) Cadrette, age 70, passed away Wednesday, March 16th at his home in Lee, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Skip was born September 14, 1945 in Rome, NY, the youngest son of the late Willard and Emma Merchant Cadrette. He attended Rome schools and spent many years as a roofer. He found his niche at Matt's Brewing Company where he worked until his retirement in 2009.
He is survived by his loving companion, Terry Kenyon and family; his daughter, Laura Ann Kostingo, Mahanoy City, PA; a son, Michael Andrew (Missy) Dolan, Lake Alfred, FL; six grandchildren; his faithful canine companion, Booder; one sister, Jeanne Cadrette of Azusa, CA; three brothers, Herman (Carol) Cadrette, Marv Cadrette, Wayne (Joyce) Cadrette; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Hospice staff for the loving care that Skip received in his final days. Also, a special thank you to Daniel Kimball who Skip referred to as, "his little Buddy" for being there for him.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
