Thomas J. Holzberger, whose sunrise was May 16, 1939 and his sunset was August 21, 2011, at home, with his loving family at his side.
He was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia, the son of Joseph and Grace Linger Holzberger. Tom was united in marriage to the former Lorraine Grieco, on August 19, 1961, at the Church of St. John the Baptist. He was a tool and die maker at Tech Utica, Halsey Road Plant. Tom proudly served in the United States Air Force, and served in Vietnam.
Tom loved his family and his home. He loved living in the woods surrounded by beautiful forests and animals, and he enjoyed wood carving.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; two daughters and a son in law, Deborah Holzberger of Ava, and Julie and Mark Skinner of Camden; a son and daughter in law, Jeffrey and Renee Holzberger of Lee Center; a sister, Sharon Holzberger of Columbia, MD; and grandchildren, Jeffrey, Steven, Michael, Sawyer and Bailey.
The funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Wednesday 4 to 7 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care or the Cleveland Clinic.
