View Tribute Book Theresa Mary Ryan Russell (September 4th, 1966–December 8th, 2024) Our loving Mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and friend was received by our Lord peacefully on December 8th, 2024. Born September 4th, 1966 in Utica, the daughter of John and Patricia Warshal Ryan, and is survived by her two children, Deanna (Patrick) Russell and Joseph Russell; four grandchildren, Leigha Ray, Ryan John, Charlotte Suzanna and unborn baby boy, Logan Bradley; her mother, Patricia Warshal Knamm; her siblings, Michelle (Ray) Krul, Kelly (Sig) Majka, Michael (Tamra) Ryan, and Kathleen Ryan; and many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased in death by her father, John Michael Ryan.Theresa or 'Terry' as most people knew her, grew up in the small town of Remsen, NY. As the middle child of five, Terry grew up learning how to live life to the fullest. A proud graduate of the Remsen Central School class of 1984, she enjoyed keeping a close relationship with her classmates throughout her lifetime. She moved to Tampa, Florida as a young adult, where she worked for several years in legal assisting. She met and married her now ex-husband Alan, in 1991. After their two children were born, the family relocated to Greenville, South Carolina where they lived for over 20 years. Terry worked in the accounting and financial management field for most of her career, the last nine years spent working for the U.S. Department of Defense at Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, SC.Terry enjoyed spending her time playing bingo, camping, hiking, going to the beach and loving her grandchildren. She loved traveling with her family and friends. Terry's funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 2 PM, at the All Saints Polish National Church, 801 Hickory Street, Rome, NY.Relatives and friends may call at the church from 12 to 2 PM prior to the mass.In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity of choice.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
