Sandra L. "Prosser" Henderson

Sandra L. Henderson, age 69, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2019, with her family at her side.



She was born December 27, 1949, in Rome a daughter of Herbert Prosser and Beverly Cadrette Prosser Farrar. Sandy enjoyed playing Bingo, card games, watching LMN, eating good food and most of all spending time with her family. She retired from Marcy Psychiatric Center after 18 years of service.



Sandy is survived by her sister and caregiver, Terrie Rondinelli, beloved sisters, Robin and Mandi, and her brother Tommy; also survived by grandchildren, Bella, Doobie and Hayden Winters; many nieces, nephews and cousins; a special friend, Ann Murphy; and three special fur babies, Opie, Ruby and Peanut. She was predeceased by her parents, Beverly and Kenneth; her husband, Eddie; a sister, Denise; a brother Kenny Lee; a son, Bubba Burch; and a niece, Amber Lee.



Sandy was a friend to all that knew her and will be sadly missed. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all who were involved in her care.



In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rome Senior Center on Ridge Street.



The funeral service will be held Thursday at 6:00 PM, at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 6 pm, prior to the funeral service.
