Rudolf J. Dualsky, age 91, formerly of Rome, passed away Thursday June 13, 2013, at the Hospice Center in Bonita Springs, FL, after a long illness.



Rudy was born on February 27, 1922, in the Bronx, the son of the late Rudolf J. and Caroline Wentura Dualsky. He graduated from Commerce High School and attended college for two years. Rudolf was united in marriage to the former Alma Koenig, on April 10, 1948, in St Jerome's Church in the Bronx, a loving marriage of 65 years. He was a sales rep for PABCO of Manhattan, NY, retiring on February 28, 1982.



Rudy was a veteran of WW II, having served as a Tech Sgt with the Army Air Corps. He was Past Commander and a Life Member of VFW Post #200 of Hastings, NY, and a member of the American Legion Post #458 in Ardsley, NY. He was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center, after moving to Rome.



Rudy is survived by his wife, Alma; four daughters and two sons in law, Susan and Joseph Ortolano of Rome, Martha and Michael Bartell of Bonita Springs, FL, Joanne Dualsky of Port St Lucie, FL and Stephanie Dualsky of Quincy, MA; four grandchildren, Stephanie Ortolano and her spouse Keith Jenkins, Matthew and Sarah Ortolano, Danielle Valenzuela and Mario Valenzuela; five great grandchildren, Sabrina, Josephine and Cecilia Ortolano- Jenkins, and Lily and Eli Orotolano.



A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, June 21, 2013, at 4:00 PM at St. Joseph's Church in Lee Center.

Interment will be in Sarasota National Cemetery in Sarasota, FL.



Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
