Rollin O. Bigalow, Jr., age 80, of Rome, passed away April 22, 2010, at Rome Memorial Hospital, with his loving family at his side.
He was born January 15, 1930, in Keene Valley, NY, the son of Rollin O. Sr. and Gladys Jane Chamberlain, and graduated from Westport High School and Clarkson University. Rollin was united in marriage to the former Edith "Pat" White, on August 3, 1957 in Westport, NY. He was a civil engineer for the 485th EIG at Griffiss AFB.
Rollin is survived by his loving wife, Pat; a daughter and son in law, Deborah and Donald Leffert, of Franklin, MA; a son and daughter in law, Joseph and Lori Bigalow, New Castle, DE; a brother and sister in law Aaron and Anne Bigalow, Glen Rock, NJ and four grandchildren.
A memorial services will be held Saturday at 10:00AM from St. Joseph's Church, Stoke-Lee Center Road, Lee Center.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 West Chestnut Street.
