Roger A. Webster, age 66, passed away peacefully December 16, 2015, in Syracuse, NY, after a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born June 18, 1949 in Rome, a son of Kenneth and Marjorie Holmes Webster, and attended Rome schools. He married Gail Storms on January 19, 1974, in North Bay, NY. He formerly worked at the Bayliss Lumber Co.
Roger's favorite times were spent with his late, close cousin, Rodney Webster, following the racing career of Richie Evans for many years.
Roger is survived by a daughter, Paula and her fiance´, Jack Roser of Blossvale; two grandchildren, Devin and Jacklyn of Blossvale; and two great granddaughters, Hailey and Brianna of Blossvale. He also is survived by two sisters, Lori and Patricia; and two brothers, Kevin and Kenneth. He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Marjorie, and in-laws, William and Gertrude Burke Storms.
Funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Rathbunville Cemetery.
