Richard Doyle

Richard Doyle, age 88, of Rome, passed away on November 29, 2025, at the Grand in Rome.

Richard was born in Rome on October 18, 1937, to the late Arthur and Alma Law Doyle, and graduated from St. Aloysius Academy. He attended Clarkson University, Utica College, and Penn State University. He worked as a caregiver.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Grand at Rome for their care and compassion shown Richard over the years.

Richard is survived by his sister, Patricia Doyle of Rochester, NY, his brother, Paul Doyle and his wife Barbara of North Granby, CT; nieces, Meghan Doyle and her partner, Kristian Fazzone, Erin Doyle Albert and her husband, Peter Albert of Groton, MA and grandnieces, Kylie Wishneski, Bryn, Margot and Sophie Albert; and grandnephew, Colby Wishneski.

A graveside service will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery in the spring.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
