Patnode, Sr., age 62, of Rome, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at Albany Medical Center, with his family by his side.Randy was born in Rome, on May 18, 1960, to the late Kenneth Sr. and Alberta Russell Patnode. He enjoyed camping and boating on Lake Delta, playing his guitar, and football Sundays and dinner with Duke and his boys.Randy is survived by his daughters, Nichole (Brandyn Enslin) Patnode of Rome, Marissa Patnode of Rochester, and Ava Patnode of Rome; his sons, Randall "Duke" (Allisha) Patnode, Jr., and Logan Bird both of Rome; ten grandchildren; his sisters, Jackie (Glenn) Terry, and Shannon (Albert) Powell; his brothers, Kenneth (Toy) Patnode, and Gene Patnode; and several nieces and nephews, especially his nieces, Shawn, Tracey, and Jody, who grew up with Randall and were like sisters. He was predeceased by his brothers, Brian Patnode, and Daryl Russell.The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at Albany Medical Center for their care and compassion shown to Randall and his family.A Celebration of Life will be held on January 7, 2023, at the Lee Legion, from 2 to 5 PM.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
