Patricia A. Narolis, age 56, of Lee Center, passed away August 17, 2010, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare, with her loving family at her side.
She was born June 25, 1954, in Rome, a daughter of Robert and Margaret White Hyde. She graduated from Adirondack Central School in 1972 and Howard G. Sacket Technical and Vocational School as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Patricia was united in marriage to Steven P. Narolis on August 23, 1980, in St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center; he died on February 1, 2007. She was employed as a LPN for the Rome CNYDSO, retiring in 2003. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
Patricia enjoyed camping with her family and watching NASCAR races. She was an avid "Pitch" player and made many great friends in the many pitch leagues she played in.
Patricia is survived by a daughter, Melissa Narolis and Stephen Mariano of Taberg; a son,
Timothy Narolis and Colleen Griffin of Oriskany; two brothers and sisters in law, Edward "Skip" and Joan Hyde of Rome, and Tim and Star Hyde of Lee Center; grandchildren, Kohlby Narolis, Jayden Narolis and Noah Narolis; sisters in law and brothers in law, Patricia and Jeff Smith of Taberg, Sandra and Joseph Maloney of Rome, Randall and Peitra Narolis of Stanwix, and Daniel and Kay Narolis of North Bay; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Sharon and Philip Dana, Nancy Cresson, Steve Harrington and Ed Snow. She was predeceased by her sister, Christine Hyde Snow.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9:30 AM from the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, and at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Lee Center. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Taberg.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Friday 5 to 8 PM.
