Pamela J. "Grant" Hummel

Pamela J. Dashnau Hummel, age 59, of Rome, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2018.



She was born December 3, 1958, in Fort Worth, TX, a daughter of the late Donald W. and Nancy Creecy Grant. Pamela graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School. She was a secretary at Rome Labs at Griffiss Air Force Base, retiring after many years of service.



Pamela is survived by a daughter and son in law, Stephanie and Alan Beckwith of Rome; a son, Phillip Dashnau of Oneida; two sisters, Donna and John "Gib" Parkhurst of Camden, and Wendy Perron and Randy Miller of Hannibal; two brothers, Barry Grant of Syracuse, and Mike Grant of Dauphin, PA; a grandson who she loved dearly, Brody Beckwith; and many nieces and nephews



The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 4, 2018, at 3:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 West Chestnut Street.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, August 4, 2018, from 2 to 3 PM, prior to the funeral service.
