Noraine P. Hildenbrandt

Noraine P. Hildenbrandt, age 89, of Taberg, passed away peacefully at home on July 28, 2025.

Noraine was born in Rome on April 4, 1936, to the late Roy and Alberta Cable Burkhart. She was formerly married to Gordon Hildenbrandt; he passed away on October 24, 2011. Noraine worked as a healthcare aide beginning with the Rome State School and retired from the NYS DDSO with over 35 years of service.

Noraine loved bingo, gardening, puzzles, and cats. She also like to can jams and jellies.

Noraine is survived by her sons, Scott (Brenda) Hildenbrandt, Steven (Christa) Hildenbrandt, David Hildenbrandt, Daniel (Kelly) Hildenbrandt, and Douglas (Jannette) Hildenbrandt; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughters, Bethann Holdbrook and Mary Rose Hildenbrandt; her sons, James Hildenbrandt Sr. and Jack "Paul" Hildenbrandt; her infant granddaughter, Olivia Hildenbrandt; and siblings, Sally Rausmusen, Joyce Butler, and Roy Burkhart Jr.

Noraine's funeral will be held on Friday, August 1, at 12 Noon, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 Noon prior to the service.
