Talarico, age 68, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2022.He was born July 18, 1953, in Utica, a son of the late Frank P. and Yolanda Izzo Talarico, and graduated from Proctor High School and attended MVCC.  Nick was united in marriage to the former Louella June Pope, on June 8, 2007, in Taberg. He formerly worked as a machine operator at Oneida limited in Sherrill. Nick loved the outdoors and beautiful “north country”, where he enjoyed many years of camping on Tug Hill.Nick is survived by his loving wife, “June”; a son, Matthew Talarico of Oneida Castle; a sister, Felicia Talarico  and Frank LaBella of New Hartford; brothers, Dominick and Donna Morelle Talarico of Camillus, David Talarico and Debbie Fell of Buffalo, and Scott Talarico and Jennifer Dougherty of Buffalo; Uncle Dominick Talarico of Utica, and Aunt Evelyn Cofano of North Carolina; nephew and niece, Bruce and Melissa Pope; grand nieces and nephew, Tiffany, Tia and Tyler Pope; and best friends, Butch and Jessie Tedford.The funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 1:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 11AM to 1 PM, prior to the funeral service.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lee Center Volunteer Fire Department.
