Nellie M. Gebo



Nellie M. Gebo, age 85, of Taberg, passed away peacefully April 26, 2012, with her loving family at her side.



She was born December 28, 1926, in Lewistown, PA, a daughter of the late William and Nellie Proud Hall, and educated in Lewistown schools. Nellie was married to Lawrence E. Gebo; he died April 11, 1991.



Nellie's life revolved around her family and her home. Many of her hobbies included sewing crocheting and crafting.



Nellie is survived by four daughters and two sons in law, Mary Turner of Lee Center, Susan Turner of Lee Center, Shirley and Edwin Turner of Lee Center, and Sally and Mike Edick of Taberg; four sons and three daughters in law, Larry and Janet Bleyer of Lee Center, David and Peggy Gebo of Lee Center, Charles and Anna Gebo of Taberg, and Robert Gebo of Taberg; five sisters, Ella, Bessie, Louise, Polly and Grace; two brothers, Richard and Samuel; and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Betty and Jean, and a brother, William, and two sons in law, and a grandson.



Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM, at Maple Hill Cemetery in Taberg.



There are no calling hours.



Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
