Nancy L. "Donovan" Donovan

Nancy L. Donovan, age 75, of Rome, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2019, at the home of her sister and brother in law, Jeanne and Keith Townsend, where she has reside for the past 31 years.



She was born January 28, 1944, in Potsdam, a daughter of the late Robert and Lorraine Cole Donovan. Jeanne was disabled, but lived a good and loving life supported by her family and friends. She loved cats and kittens, Barbie Dolls and Dora the Explorer. She also enjoyed playing Bingo at Turning Stone Casino, and enjoyed the many friends she met.



Nancy is survived by a sister and brother in law, Jeanne and Keith Townsend of Rome; three brothers and sisters in law, Terrence Donovan of Potsdam, Bruce and Jane Donovan of Potsdam, and James and Patrick Donovan of Alaska; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Bonnie Williams, and a brother, Barry Donovan



Funeral services will be private. Burial will be in Long lake Cemetery.



There are no calling hours.
