Nancy B. Keller, age 83, of Rome, passed away peacefully April 14, 2011, at the Rome Nursing Home.



She was born October 11, 1927, in Constableville, a daughter of Gerald and Dorothy Dolan Bronson, and graduated from West Leyden Central School. Nancy was united in marriage to J. Glenn Keller, on August 19, 1950, in St. Mary's Church in West Leyden; he died March 31, 1981. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Rome.



Nancy's life revolved around her family. She was an avid fan and strong supporter of her grandchildren's sports programs, especially, Smith Post American Legion Baseball. She had the good fortune of attending three New York State American Legion Baseball Tournament Championship victories by Smith Post, dating back to 1959.



Nancy is survived by three daughters and sons in law, Michele and Gary Babowicz of Rome, Maureen and Gary Tarantino of Rome and Celeste and Scott McGregor of Rome; two sons and daughters in law, Gregory and Karen Keller of Rome, and Mathew and Bobbi Keller Lee Center; two sisters and a brother in law, Priscilla Wilbert of Boonville and Suzanne and Bruce Boardman of Boonville; grandchildren, Rick, Kristen, Gary, Gregory, Lauren, Mathew, Adam, Marissa, Travis, Trevor, Alexa and Kendra; and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Kessler, and two brothers, Philip and Daniel Bronson.



A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Peter's Church. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.



There are no calling hours.



Memorial contributions may be made to the Smith Post American Legion Baseball Program or In Mission of the Christ Child, at St. Peter's Church.



The family wishes to sincerely thank the Staff of Rome Nursing Home for their care, compassion and friendship extended to Nancy.
