Michael F. Krebs, age 63, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2017, with his loving family by his side.
He was born February 13, 1954, in Rome a son of Richard S. and June Myers Krebs, and graduated from Holland Patent Central School in 1972. He formerly worked at Camden Wire Co. and later became and accomplished and expert chicken farmer.
Michael's life revolved around his family. He also loved nature and the outdoors; which drew him to raising chickens.
Michael is survived by his children, Kimberly and Tim Cramer of Texas, Diana and Scott Wilcox of Brookfield, Alyson Vick and Cody Durso of Utica, Michael B. Krebs of Lee Center, and Jaimie Krebs of Yorkville; his mother, June Krebs; a sister and brother in law, Lori and Art Hughes of Holland Patent; three brothers and sisters in law, Richard and Bev Krebs of Rome, Jim and Marilyn Krebs of Rome, and Scott and Sue Krebs of Westmoreland; and grandchildren, Jacob, Nora, Mallary, Collin and Gracie; many nieces and nephews, and a good friend, Sandy. He was predeceased by his father, Richard S. Krebs.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery, Stittville.
There are no calling hours.
