Mary E. Unkle, 93, died peacefully at home on January 16, 2017. She was living on Edisto Island, SC and was formerly a long-time resident of Floyd, NY.

Mary was born on April 7, 1923 in Cairo, IL, the daughter of Bertha D. (Holderfield) and Clarence A. Rutledge. She graduated from Cairo High School and Bryant Stratton Business School. She married Charles L. Unkle on January 23, 1954. Possessing a strong faith, Mary was active in her church and a Godly Christian example to her children and all who knew her.
