Mary Munio

Mary Ann Munio, age 70, of the Town of Lee and formerly of Waynesboro, VA, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 15, 2025.

Mary Ann was born in Rome on May 18, 1955, to Jerry Munio and Catherine Wager, and graduated from RFA. She retired from Fiber Instrument Sales (FIS) in Oriskany. She enjoyed collecting buttons and owls. Mary was also a member of the Westernville Legion Auxiliary, and the Moose and Eagles Clubs in Waynesboro.

Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Amber (Adam) Quesenberry; her granddaughters, Ellie and Hannah; her mother, Catherine Mulga; her companion, John Barnaby; her sister, Diane (Michael) Rogers; her brother, Jerry (Sue) Munio Jr.; her stepsisters, Kimberly (Jeffrey) Denslow, and Candice (Eric) Cesari; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Trevor Munio; her father, Jerry Munio; and stepfather, Samuel Mulga.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 12 Noon, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Her cremains will be buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
