Mary M. Collins, age 70, of Rome, passed away peacefully, October 24, 2013, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center, with her loving family at her side.
She was born May 11, 1943, in New Castle West, Ireland, a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret M. MacDonald Dundon, and educated in England schools. Mary was united in marriage to Rodney Collins, Jr. on April 30, 1969, in Uxbridge, England.
Mary was a caring and loving homemaker who had a tremendous amount of love for her family; especially her grandchildren.
Mary is survived by her husband, Rodney; a daughter, Tara Collins of Rome; three sons and two daughters in law, Kevin and Erin Dundon of Wilton, NY, Michael Collins of Calabash, NC, and David and Jeany Collins of Rome; 4 sisters and brothers in England and 8 Grandchildren.
The funeral service will be private. Burial will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery in Saratoga, New York.
There are no calling hours.
