Martin D. Schuyler, age 78, of Rome, and formerly of Syracuse, passed away August 25, 2012.
He was born April 7, 1934, in Rome, and was educated in Rome Schools. Martin formerly worked for Sutton Real Estate in Syracuse and in security for the Syracuse Housing Authority.
Martin enjoyed movies and music and had built a large collection of movies and music over the years.
Martin is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Anthony Schuyler and Jennifer Hurley of Rome, and Steven and Pauline Schuyler of Syracuse; a daughter, Valeria O'Brien of Syracuse and grandchildren, Natasha Schuyler, Clara Schuyler, Naphteri Schuyler, Steven Schuyler Jr., Mary Montroy and Travis O'Brien.
Relatives and friends may call at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, Wednesday 4 to 7 PM.
Funeral services will be private.
