Reed, age 63, of Rome, with family at his side, went home to be with his Savior on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at the Presbyterian Home of Central New York. Mark was born in Syracuse, New York on July 15, 1958 to the late Archie and Lorma (Schiltz) Reed. Mark graduated from VVS High School. Mark was united in marriage to Sheri Dorsino on October 16, 1981.  He worked for the City of Rome as a Water Plant Operator and served as an Assistant Pastor at Greater Grace Church of Utica.Mark loved the outdoors, especially hunting. He boxed in his earlier years. He was an excellent athlete in many sports and remained active throughout his life. He loved all his family and friends, especially his grandchildren who brought joy into his life. Mark was a true man of integrity who left an impression on everyone.Mark is survived by his loving wife, Sheri; his two daughters, Aubrey Sullo of PA, and Amber Reed of Rome; his son, Philip (Keshia) Reed of Rome; his grandchildren, Christina, Jada, Samantha, Kayla, Thomas, Jr., Khalil, River, and Landen; his sister, Michelle Reed; his brother Matthew (Anna) Reed; his brother, Shane Archer Reed; his step-father, Daniel (Barb) Barker; and several nieces and nephews.There will be a Celebration of Life service on Sunday, at 2 PM, at Greater Grace Church of Utica, 1112 Ney Ave, Utica.There are no calling hours.                Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
