Marion R. "Reider" Bartlett

Marion R. Bartlett, age 92, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully August 3, 2013, at her home.



She was born January 23, 1921, in the Town of Western, a daughter of the late David and Rose Weibel Reider, and educated in Lee Center schools. Marion was united in marriage to Walter Bartlett on September 9, 1939, in the Lee Center United Methodist Church; a marriage of almost 65 years before Walter's death in 2004. She was very active on the family farm, "Twin Creek Farm", in Lee Center, until her retirement several years ago.



Marion was also active in the Lee Center community. She was a member of the Lee Center United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women's Group and "Sunshine" chairwoman at the church for several years. She also was a member of the Lee Unity Senior Citizens.



Marion is survived by a daughter and son in law, Janet and William Chrysler of Lee Center; a son, Lee Bartlett of Tuscon, AZ; a daughter in law, Marjorie Bartlett of Lee Center; grandchildren, Brenda Brown, Rose Cook, David Chrysler and Princess Bartlett; great grandchildren, Stephanie Horne, Jinnelle Bartlett, Kevin Cook and Kaitlyn Cook. She was predeceased by a son Allan Bartlett; and a daughter in law, Carol Bartlett.



The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 5 to 8 PM.
