Sbarglia, age 92, of Rome, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023.She was born December 26, 1930, in Floral Park, Long Island, a daughter of the late Joseph and Adele Biancardi Notary, and educated in Floral Park schools.  Marilyn was united in marriage to Nicholas J. Sbarglia, on July 9, 1949, in Floral Park; he died on October 3, 2021.  She was a member of the Church of St. John the Baptist.Marilyn was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  She enjoyed walking with her husband, Nick, and they were known as the “Rome hand-holders,” as they walked around the city.Marilyn is survived by her daughters, Linda Bialecki (Mitchell), and Marianne Blagoue (Michael); grandchildren, Rob Amidon (Eunice), Amy Bannenberg (David), Chelsea Bialecki, Mitchell Bialecki II (Jamie), Heather Pilakowski (Timothy); great grandchildren, Nicholas, Madison, David Jr., Jonathan, Savannah, Brenda, Mitchell III, Mikah, Maja, Reed, Parker; and great grandchild, Amora.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Susan Amidon.Funeral services will be private.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.There are no calling hours.
