Marie Pierce McLean, age 90, of Rome and formerly of Springville, NY, passed away August 23, 2012.
She was born June 5, 1922, in Springville, NY, a daughter of Ellsworth and Thelma Crosby Pierce. She was united in marriage to Edgar W. McLean on August 4, 1940, in Concord, NY; he died January 12, 1997.
Marie is survived by a daughter and son in law, Diane and Bob Cole of Swanton, OH; two sons and a daughter in law, William McLean of East Concord, NY, and Dennis and Donna McLean of Rome; grandchildren, Fred Reimann of Swanton, OH, Dale McLean of West Branch, NY and Daniel and Rochelle McLean of Westernville, NY; and two great grandsons, Austin and Dakota McLean of Westernville. NY.
A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Springville, NY.
There are no calling hours.
