Louisa M. Boiko, age 64, of Rome, passed away on October 4, 2013, at Upstate University Hospital, with her loving family by her side.



Louisa was born in Rome on November 7, 1948 to the late George and Margaret Parsons Seigler. She graduated from RFA. On October 19, 1968, she married Russell Boiko. Louisa worked as a Nurse's Aide at the Masonic Home and Stonehedge Nursing Home.



Louisa was an avid NASCAR and New York Yankees fan. She truly loved her grandchildren and will be greatly missed.



She is survived by her husband, Russell; two daughters and son in law, Brenda Boiko, and Rebecca and William Aldrich of Rome; two sons and a daughter in law, Christopher Boiko and Charmayne Arnold of Fulton and Jason and Jennifer Boiko of Rome; grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Ayla, Brian, Destiny, Amber, Christopher II, Renie, Zachery, Samantha, William Jr., Wyatt, Sammantha and Jamie; twin great-grandsons; and three sisters and a brother in law, Cathy Archerof Rome, Bonnie and Ronnie Collins both of Rome, and Sharon Seigler and Joe Baker of Lee Center; a brother in law and sister in law, Steven and Gaye Boiko of Rome; and a sister in law and brother in law, Anna and Charles Kraus of Strattham, NH. She was predeceased by a grandson, Alexxander.



Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM from the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3 to 6 PM.
