Sacco, age 75, of Rome, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center.He was born July 8, 1948, in Rome, a son of the late Simon and Louise Spina Sacco. Louis taught in the Albuquerque, New Mexico school district, retiring after many years of service. He was a member of the Church of St. John the Baptist and of the Albuquerque Reserve Police having graduated in May 1978 from the academy.Louis is survived by his brother, Simon Sacco and Sharon Sanford of Rome; and nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews; and many good friends.A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, at 5 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.  Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 PM prior to the funeral.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.  To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Louis Sacco, please visit our Tree Store
