Lorraine Mae Palmer, age 72, of Rome, passed away September 17, 2009.
She was born July 31, 1937, in Rome, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Storace Palmer, and educated in Rome schools. She was a member of the Church of St. John the Baptist.
Lorraine is survived by two sisters, Rosemarie Donovan of Rome and Jean Klossner of California; a brother and sister in law, Francis and Marion Palmer of W. Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mary Bauman and Eve Rose, and a brother, Jack Palmer.
Private funeral services will be held. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
