Lorraine M. "Lori" Augustine

Lorraine "Lori" M. Augustine, of Pennellville and formerly of Rome, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 23, 2018. Lori was very proud of being an eleven-year cancer survivor.
She was born January 29, 1959, in Rome, a daughter of the late Boyd and Carmella Galluppi Wynne. Lori graduated from Rome Free Academy, Class of 1977. She met her husband, Tom, at their 10thyear high school reunion, and on July 8, 1989, united in marriage at the Church of St. John the Baptist.
After high school, Lori attended MVCC and the Utica School of Commerce. She especially enjoyed her time working as a security guard at local businesses. Lori was an avid sports fan, always supporting her favorite teams; the Bills, the Sabres and the Yankees. She enjoyed going to the movies, reading, cooking and spending time with her family.
Lori was a communicant of the Church of St. John the Baptist and was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Church in North Syracuse. She was a woman of faith and prayed daily.
Lori is survived by her loving husband, Tom; her sister and brother in law, Patty and Rick Hannmann of East Greenbush; her sisters in law and brothers in law, Jeanne and Gerry Gymburch of Deerfield, Bill and Christie Augustine of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; nieces and nephews, Christopher Hannmann, Lauren (Hannmann) and Alex Smith, Eric Hannmann, Brian and Rachel Gymburch, Dan and Megan Gymburch, Mike and Joyce Augustine, Robin (Augustine) Tafat, Nick Augustine; aunts and uncles, Dolly and Joe Mayes and Barbara Wells. She was predeceased by her loving father in law and mother in law, Nick and Shirley Augustine.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio, will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM, at the Church of St. John the Baptist. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Friday from 4 to 7 PM.
