Gorman, age 63, of Rome, passed away peacefully, on December 4, 2020. She was born May 21, 1957, in Sidney New York, a daughter of Albert J. and  Marian C. Ederer Mehl, and graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1975.  She worked as a developmental aide for the Rome CNYDSO, retiring after many years of service. Linda loved music and singing and enjoyed singing karaoke with her beautiful voice.  She also enjoyed testing her wit playing trivia with her friends.  She dearly loved her cat, “Moe” Linda is survived by two sisters, Carol Mehl of Liverpool and Janet M. Jones and Miguel A. Sanchez of Westmoreland; a brother and sister in law, Edward and Kellie Mehl of Rome; and her longtime companion, John Kowal of Rome; her nephews, Steven Jr. and Nathan Jones; and many good friends. Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
