Linda M. Johnson, age 55, of McConnellsville, passed away August 28, 2010, at home, with her loving family at her side.
She was born March 25, 1955, in Hamilton, New York, a daughter of Robert L. Sr, and Marguarite D. VanBastin Budlong. She was educated in Rome schools. Linda was united in marriage to Robert A. Johnson, in Lee Center, New York. She was employed at Harden Furniture.
Linda was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend who put everyone else's cares and worries before those of her own. She will be dearly missed.
Linda is survived by her husband, Bob; her mother, Marguarite Taylor of Rome; a daughter, Tiffany Stoner of Ft. Drum, NY, four sons, Brett M. Johnson of Rome, Christopher L. Johnson of McConnellsville, Marc A Johnson of Gardner, MA, and Bobby T. Willilams of McConnellsville; three sisters, Sandra DiLapi of Oneida, Connie Wilson of Madison, and Becky Gorczyca of Knoxboro; four brothers, Robert Budlong, Jr. of Rome, Richard Budlong of Lee Center, Donald Budlong of Rome, and Gary Budlong of Verona; and several grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care.
