Leslie E. Stockwin, age 69, of Yorkville, passed away unexpectedly on October 25, 2016 at home.
Leslie was born in Potsdam, NY on February 12, 1947 to the late Herbert and Adeline Coppins Stockwin. She received her Associate's Degree from Hinds Junior College in Mississippi. She worked at Utica National Insurance as a transcriptionist.
Leslie is survived by a daughter and son in law, Pam and Mark Jennings of Westmoreland; a son, James Breaky of CA; two beloved grandchildren whom she loved spending time with, Mark and Anne; a sister, Wendy Stockwin of Syracuse; and a brother, William Stockwin of CA; and three step grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew and Michelle Jennings of Sauquoit, NY.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:15 AM from the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM at St. Peter's Church in Rome, with the Rev. Philip A. Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10:15 AM.
