Leonard J. Trachsel, 74, of Verona, passed away peacefully, December 17, 2010, at Rome Memorial Hospital, with his loving family at his side.
He was born August 5, 1936, in Rome, a son of Leonard J. and Delilah A. Campbell Trachsel, and was educated in Rome schools. Leonard was united in marriage to the former Barbara Jean Little, on March 17, 1956, in Rome. He formerly worked for A & P Grocery Stores, Birnie Bus and Vernon Foodland.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean; two daughters, Denise J. Trachsel and Deborah L. Dutcher; a son, Charles W. Trachsel; grandchildren, Katrina and Robert Dutcher, Dawn Tallini, Crystal Nodine and Jimmy Burdick; 4 great grandchildren, two sisters and a brother, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
There are no calling hours.
