View Tribute Book Leah Gabelman, age 101, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on December 2, 2022.Leah was born in New York City on August 13, 1921 to the late Edward and Bessie Levitt. She was united in marriage to Irving Gabelman on February 13, 1949 until his passing on October 3, 1997. She was an avid bridge player and achieved Life Master status.Leah is survived by her sons, Alan and Debra Gabelman of West Chester, OH, and Philip Gabelman of Rome; her granddaughters, Rachel Gabelman and her husband, Ryan Pollock, and Emily Gabelman; her two great grandsons, Mason and Noah; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Davies; and her brothers Maxie and Albert Levitt.Leah’s funeral will be held on Sunday at 1 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
