View Tribute Book Kelly Oakes, age 58, of Rome, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022 at MVHS-St. Luke’s Campus, after a brief illness.Kelly was born in San Antonio, TX on January 17, 1964 to the late Roger Sunderland and Marcella Keiser and educated in the Rome Schools. On September 3, 2016 she was united in marriage to Edwin Oakes II.She loved her cats, plants and her Challenger car.Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Ed; her daughter, Erica (Stephen) Thomas; her son, Chris (Deidre) Sexton; her grandson, Maxx Sexton; her step-daughter, Chelsea (Garrett) Moses; her step-grandchildren, Haley and Kennedy and her in-laws, Edwin and Martha Oakes.Relatives and friends may call at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
