Karen Daigle, age 50, formerly of Rome, passed away July 2, 2012, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center.
She was born April 3, 1962, in Rome, a daughter of Joseph R. and Mary Ann Smaldon Lombino, and educated in Rome Schools and MVCC. She was formerly married to David Daigle.
Karen enjoyed crocheting and couponing in her spare time. She was an avid animal lover and had a big heart for dogs and cats. She was very kindhearted and loving, and always willing to help others.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Mary Ann Lombino; her daughter and fiance´, Jessica Daigle and Paul Salzarulo of Staffordville, CT; a sister, Ann Marie Eisenreich of Rome, a brother and sister in law, Joseph R. Jr., and Kelly Lombino of Rome; grandson, Paul Hunter Salzarulo; nieces, Tiffany Eisenrich, Paige Marie Lombino and nephew, Joseph R. Lombino III.
The funeral service was held at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, at the convenience of the family. Burial was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
