View Tribute Book Judy Ann Matt, age 64, of Lee Center, passed away peacefully at home on April 27, 2022.She was born May 23, 1957, in Rome, a daughter of the late Lewis and Beatrice Tuthill Maitland, and graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1975.  Judy was united in marriage to Stanley Matt, Jr, on September 17, 1977, on the family farm in Lee Center.  She worked as a CNA at the Eastern Star Home in Oriskany, retiring after 30 years of service.  She was member of the Lee Center United Methodist Church.Judy’s life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren, and tending to her yard and beautiful gardens.Judy is survived by her loving husband, Stan “Billy”; sons and daughters in law, Jamie and Jolene Matt of South Carolina, Jeremy and Renee Matt of Rome, and Jason and Abigail Matt of Lee Center; siblings, Mollie and Michael Oram of Taberg, Edith and David Boisen of Lee Center, Jane and Jay Smith of Ava, and Marjorie and Michael Szyper of Lee Center, Jay and Mary-Kay Maitland of Lee Center, Roy and Kristina Maitland of South Carolina, and Peter Maitland and Ezequiel Cortes of Lee Center; grandchildren, Isabelle, Grace, Weston and Natalie; grand dogs, Major and Jordy; a brother and sister in law, Steven and Roberta Matt; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her in-laws, Stanley Sr. and Karen Matt; and a sister in law, Kim Matt.The funeral service will be held Friday at 6:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
