Yell, age 77, of Constantia, NY, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.Judy was born in Rome on August 22, 1943 to the late Bernard and Margaret Campbell, and graduated from Rome Free Academy. On September 4, 1961, she was united in marriage to George A. Yell. Judy worked for the Visiting Nurses Association as an administrator.Judy loved to garden and enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing and quilting.Judy is survived by her loving husband, George; her son, George Jr. (Sharon) Yell of Buffalo, NY; her two daughters, Victoria (Donn Bertone) Capraro of Manlius, NY, and Cathy (Randy) Cook of Whitesboro; four grandchildren, Abigail, Noelle, Andrew, and Emily; and two sisters, Marion (Frank) Prosser and Evelyn (Earl) Nestved. She was predeceased by two sisters, Eunice Street and Sandra Simon; and a brother, Harold Campbell.Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.Burial will be in Rome Cemetery in the spring.Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
