John J. Leffert

John Jacob Leffert, age 32, of Rome, passed away July 5, 2018, at Rome Memorial Hospital.



He was born October 2, 1985, in San Diego, CA, and was employed at Precision Block and Concrete in Canastota.



John was a devoted father and loved his family deeply. He also was a dedicated and hard-working person.



John is survived by his son, "L. J." John D. Leffert II; his father, John "Doug" Leffert and step-mother, Cynthia Leffert; his mother, Elaine Leffert; brother, David Leffert; grandmother, Elinor Joan Leffert; and several loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his grandfather, John J. Leffert, and cousin Monica Urtz.



The funeral service will be held Monday at 6:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 West Chestnut Street.



Relatives and friends may call at the funeral Monday from 4 to 6 PM, prior to the funeral service.
