Jeromie R. Davis, age 27, of Sherrill, passed away March 28, 2011, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, after a brief illness, with his loving family at his side.
He was born July 23, 1983, in Rome, the son of Dale R. Davis and Rhonda Rotach, and graduated from VVS. Jeromie was united in marriage to the former Desiree Cossitt-Yager, on June 30, 2007, in Sherrill.
He was employed by the Rome City School District.
Jeromie is survived by his wife, Desiree, and infant son, Parker; his father, Dale R. Davis; mother and "step-daddy", Rhonda and Wyatt McNamara; his mother in law, Linda Cossitt; grandparents, Penton Prosser, Geraldine Finster, Linda McNamara, Ron and Marilyn McNamara, and Robert and Cordelia Cossitt; sisters, Erica and Scott Merchant, Tiffany Davis, Amber and Kolby Gardner, Autumn Davis, Skye Davis, and Deanna Washburn; a brother, Bobby Neiner; a sister in law, Sydney Cossitt-Shue, and a brother in law, Casey Cossitt-Yager; a niece and 6 nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday from 3 to 7 PM, prior to the Memorial Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Jeromie Davis Memorial Fund.
