Jeffrey T. Toepp, age 64, of Rome, passed away peacefully at home on May 31, 2025, with his family at his side, after a battle with cancer.
Jeff was born in Rome on April 11, 1961, to the late Kenneth and Gladys Urtz Toepp, and graduated from RFA. On November 22, 1985, he was united in marriage to the former Kimberly Pritchard at the Church of St. John the Baptist; a blessed union of nearly 38 years until her passing on February 28, 2023. Jeff worked as a table games dealer for the Turning Stone Casino, and also bar tended at Teugega Country Club, and was a long-time staple as manager and bartender at the former Beeches Restaurant and Conference Center.
Jeff loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could outside, ideally hiking, golfing, or fishing.
Jeff is survived by his sons, Matthew Pritchard, and Nicholas (Theresa) Toepp; seven grandchildren, Caitlin (Eric) Faherty, Ariana Pritchard, Gabriella Ashley, Autumn Toepp, Madison Pritchard, Ethan Toepp, and Lucas Toepp; two great grandchildren; his brothers, Richard (Beth) Toepp, Wayne (Barb) Toepp, and Ronald Toepp; an aunt, Jeanette Reid; and several nieces and nephews, as well as his extended Pritchard family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 6, at 6 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 6 prior to the service.
