Jeanie K. Ruzicka, age 61, of Rome, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2017, at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare Center
She was born August 22, 1955, in California, the daughter of Mitzi D Reeder and James N Ruzicka, and educated in California schools. Jeanie formerly worked at the Stonehedge Nursing Home
Jeanie was a very kind person with many friends and family. She was creative in so many ways with a fine love and respect for art and music. She was fun, adventurous, loving, kind and extremely giving. Jeanie's love for others was inspiring and will be remembered by all.
Jeanie is survived by three daughters, Nichole Williams, Alisha Ruzicka and Krystal Hawkins, all of Rome; And her companion, Brian Hawkins; grandchildren, Sarah, Vanessa and Dominique Thomas, Marquise Howard, and Amarra and Brycen Kiley; great grandchildren, Zoey Rotondi and Aaliyah Carter; her father, James Ruzicka and several sisters and brothers, Janette, James, Kevin, Tami and Gary. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Slate.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4:00 PM, at Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street
