View Tribute Book It is with great sadness that the family of Holly Jennifer Winn announces her passing on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 after a valiant battle with cancer. Holly was born on January 19, 1980 to Bernard and Donna Sliter Winn II. Not only was Holly known for her beautiful bright baby blue eyes, gorgeous curly chestnut hair and a smile that could light up a room, she was also the most caring, compassionate, giving, warm-hearted and selfless person – she acted as a full-time caregiver to her parents Donna and Bernie. She was the sunshine of two beautiful girls, Nikki and Giavonna. She believed that cardinals were a sign and a gift from Heaven, loved red roses and made many friends at the Rome YMCA. She was the proud mama of her fur babies, Duke and Lucky. She was everything to everyone and gave constant unconditional love to the people in her life.Holly is survived by her parents; daughters; sister, Karen (Brad) Shaw; and brothers, BJ (Marlana) Winn III, Bernard "Mikey" Winn and Thomas (Carie) Winn. She is also survived by her longtime love and companion of 13 years, Michael Jones, Jr.; his parents, Michael and Dawn Jones; his sister, Michelle Pratt (Edward); Nikki's father, Eric "Rick" Trexler and his wife, Erin; special aunt, Izzy; and many close aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who played an integral part in her life. She was welcomed into Heaven by her brother, Bryan. She was also predeceased by paternal grandparents, Bernard Sr. and Isabel Winn; maternal grandparents, Donald and Lillian Sliter; uncle, William Gonyea; and aunt, Karen Sliter.Calling hours will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m., Saturday at Barry Funeral Home, Rome.
