Hildenbrandt, age 76, of Taberg, passed away peacefully October 18, 2011.He was born May 24, 1935, in Syracuse son of Georgianna Hildenbrandt and step-son of John Fortini, and educated in Rome schools. He was a self-employed painter in the Rome area.Whitey is survived by a daughter and son in law, Beth and Stephen Holdbrook of Ava; seven sons and six daughters in law, Jack and Terry Hildenbrandt of Taberg, Scott and Brenda Hildenbrandt of Ava, James and Billie Jo Hildenbrandt of Taberg, Steven and Crista Hildenbrandt of Rome, David Hildenbrandt of Rome, Daniel and Kelly Hildenbrandt of Taberg and Douglas and Jeanette Hildenbrandt of Taberg; three step-brothers, Jack Fortini of Florida, Duane Fortini of Vermont and Sean Fortini of Florida; several grand and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Rose Hildenbrandt and a son, Paul J. Hildenbrandt.The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of Rome Center for their care, compassion and friendship extended to Whitey during his illness.The funeral service will be held Friday at 7:00 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W.
