Glenda E. "Waterman" Buczek

d. July 16, 2019

Glenda Buczek, 76, of Floyd, was sent to spend eternal rest in Jesus' loving arms, Tuesday, July 16, 2019.

She was born on September 26, 1942 in Rome, the daughter of the late Walter and Calemas Platt Waterman. On August 26, 1961 she was united in marriage to Teddy Buczek at Transfiguration of Our Lord, Rome. This union was blessed by Jesus for 57 amazing, spectacular, wonderful years.

Surviving is her soulmate and love of her life, Ted; her cherished children, Dennis Buczek, Tim (Cheryl Grant) Buczek, Aliceann (Ed) Beer all of Floyd, and Rosann (David) Hayes of Stittville.

Mammy's most prized possessions were her grandchildren, Abby Hayes and Jake Beer. She also leaves her sister Lorraine whom she loved very much. Glenda is also survived by many sisters and brothers in law and nieces and nephews. Glenda was predeceased by her son, Tommy, who entered eternal rest in Jesus' loving arms on July 19, 1985, her two brothers, sisters and brothers in law, and nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Contronea, Dr. Kelberman, Dr. E. Wassel, Dr. Kashtanova, and Diane Scalise. A special thank you to Penny Swancott who was always there to answer questions, place a call, or just to give a comforting hug. You truly are our Angel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at the Church of St. John the Baptist, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street, on Friday, July 19, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM.

In memory of Glenda, please say a special prayer for those in need.
