Gail P. Mullen, age 82, of the Town of Floyd, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2018, at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center.
Gail was born in Rome on September 20, 1935 to the late Milo and Edna Nessel Fahey. She graduated from Holland Patent Central School in 1953. She was married to Dale Annis, who passed away on December 25, 1969, and also to Donald Mullen, who passed away in 1997. Gail had a strong work ethic and worked at Harding Manufacturing as a machine operator into her 70's. She enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends.
Gail is survived by three sons and daughters in law, Mark and Linda Annis of San Diego, CA, Craig and Nancy Annis of Steuben, and Darrin and Dawn Mullen of Blossvale; two step sons, Duane and Marilyn Mullen of Rome, and Dennis and Sue Mullen of Ava; a sister, Phyllis Patenaude; a brother, Roger Fahey; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; a special friend, Patricia (Hayes) Mulvihill; and her former daughter in law whom she remained close with, Joanne Mullen. She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Ashley Annis; a sister, Elaine Nicotera; a brother Patrick Fahey; and a sister in law, Miyoko Fahey.
Gail's funeral will be held on Saturday at 12 PM at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Westernville Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10 AM to 12 PM prior to the funeral.
