Fred L. Posello, age 66, of Lee Center, passed away on March 24, 2014 at home, with his loving family by his side.



He was born on September 28, 1947 in Rome to Fred and Juliette LaGra Posello. He graduated from Rome Free Academy in 1965. On March 12, 1990, he married the former Christine Hochstuhl. Fred was employed by Revere Copper and Brass for 42 years, retiring in May 2008.



Fred loved taking long drives on his Harley with his wife, Christine. He was a friend to everyone he met and he also liked entertaining in his "man cave."



Fred leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 24 years; two daughters and a son, Kimberly and Roger Lince of Rome, Fred Jr. and Mondel Posello of Camden, and Michelle Posello and her companion, Bernard Hochstuhl of Rome; 12 grandchildren and one great granddaughter; a sister, Yvonne Beckwith of Rome; a brother and sister in law, Michael and Nancy Posello of Pensacola, FL; three sisters in law and one brother in law, Tarry and Kenny Yager, Hazel and Jason Gough, Juanita and Keith Willis, and Jeff and May Hochstuhl; and his beloved K-9 companions, Lady Ann, Bailey Lynn and Casey Jane. He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Philip Posello, a nephew, Douglas Posello, a brother in law, Jesse Beckwith, and his mother and father in law, Bernie Spinks and her husband, David, and Robert Hochstuhl.



Fred's family would like to thank Hospice, especially Ed and Kate, for the care that he received.



At Fred's request, there will be no calling hours or services.



Arrangements are entrusted to the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street.
