Mr. Felix Sanchez, formerly of IRA 1 at 5974 Old Oneida Road, Rome, NY, died peacefully on January 23, 2016.
Mr. Sanchez was born on December 18, 1957, in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. In 2000, Mr. Sanchez moved to Syracuse to live with his sister, Gladys. Mr. Sanchez moved to the Walsh ICF in April of 2010 and subsequently, transferred to IRA 1. Mr. Sanchez was a proud and very self-determined man. He took pride in his dress, he desired to be very independent and he knew exactly how activities should be completed. Mr. Sanchez wishes to thank his friends at IRA 1 and Walsh Day Hab for the care they extended him.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3:00 PM, at the Barry Funeral Home, 807 W. Chestnut Street. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home, from 2 to 3 PM, prior to the funeral service.
